That’s telling the US after earlier A.D write about the issue. Breda-based Strukton would not be allowed to store flammable or corrosive chemicals in Nispen. It is also not allowed to transfer the contents of the barrels there into smaller barrels for transport to a waste processor. According to the Public Prosecution Service, the investigation is at its final stage, but no decision has yet been made regarding the prosecution of the company or individuals.

According to the AD, there have been several incidents where Strukton improperly stored drug waste or contained chemical leaks. The Office of the Acting Public Prosecutor does not want to say how many incidents are involved. A spokesman said the situation is being “monitored” in a case involving industrial vessels. In Lage Zwaluwe, where Strukton also did not have a storage permit, one of these containers released hundreds of liters of chemicals. Later, another vessel went out and, according to the AD, a barrel fell in Breda, where the company has storage and a special license.
