A company is offering a $50,000 reward for identifying people involved in a crypto scam

Blockchain analytics firm Arkham has launched a bounty program aimed at uncovering the identities of those behind crypto wallets linked to digital asset fraud.

In the last News On the social media platform X, Arkham, known for its expertise in uncovering crypto transactions, announced that it is offering four bounties in collaboration with Restore the Republic (RTR).

One of the rewards specifically aims to identify the owner of each wallet that participates in “Snipers“Activities surrounding the launch of RTR, a meme token centered around Donald Trump.

Arkham is offering a reward of $50,000. The RTR team has created and funded a series of rewards for discovering the identity and relevant information about the owners of four specific wallets linked to “Snipers“Activities with RTR.

In this context, sniping refers to a form of insider trading in which certain entities gain an unfair advantage by acquiring large quantities of a particular coin at a low price before the general public has access to it.

The analytics firm claims that rewards will be given to anyone who can identify or provide solid, verifiable evidence that leads to the identification of wallet owners.

The rise and subsequent fall of RTR coincided with a statement from Donald Trump’s son Eric, who hinted at the launch of “something big” in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space while distancing both himself and the former president from the meme coin.
