A commission discusses the sales of paradise gas

A commission in the National Assembly discusses the sales of paradise gas

The Parliamentary Agriculture Committee will consider two proposals for changes to the Food Law. They are related to the use of nitrous oxide, known as “paradise gas” in the food industry. The changes regulate the terms and conditions for the sale and use of natural gas in food establishments and the sanctions for violators.

The other bill that the deputies will discuss is about changes in the law on the management of the agri-food chain.

The changes provide that food control at border checkpoints can only be carried out by laboratories of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency.

The proponents of the bill from the PP-DB emphasize that private laboratories are prohibited on the territory of the border crossing points. Because border control is part of national security.
