To the mayor of Lion, Jose Antonio Díez, He likes political anger more than a fool a chalk. The problem is that to the citizens of this municipality their bank leg outings do not bring us any well-being. Convert the Leon City Council in a patriotic barracks to further his private crusade is a democratic fraud and a deception of his electors.
Of course, there are accumulated gaps of misgovernment and cuts in public services (education, health and social services) in which the right that has governed this community for more than 30 years has little sensitivity. But the severity of the pandemic should park the dialectical knives for when the evil is gone. And that should include the mayors of Valladolid Y Lion, two design spokesmen who are less interested in the health of the municipality than their political career.
There is nothing easier for those who exercise it, nor more wasteful in reports to the community than to practice permanent confrontation with an external enemy to which to attribute the origin of all or almost all “our evils”. It is the roadmap of every self-respecting nationalist or populist, be called Torra, Puigdemont, Morano, Ayuso or Díez.
Questioning, without other arguments than mere disqualification, the restrictive measures taken by health officials in the face of the advance of the pandemic is to seriously play with the health of the neighbors. It is to favor denialism, the disobedience of a good part of society.
