Optional screenings
Consequence: the establishment closed its doors. It won’t reopen until Monday. “Of course, children who have been diagnosed positive or who were contact cases will have to come back with a test certifying that they no longer represent any danger,” insisted the elected official.
To reduce the risk of new sources of contamination emerging in leisure centers, the city of Toulon has decided to provide its establishments with saliva tests.
“We have already received these tests, which are spread over all of our structures. In the city of Toulon, we have 18 leisure centers that are operating this summer, she said, specifying that the directors of the centers were “already informed of the practice”.
These screenings will nevertheless be optional, recalls Valérie Mondone: “We cannot, for the moment, oblige. The health pass does not apply to all of these structures.”
