A closer look at the Crew Dragon’s dome window. The view window that gives SpaceX space tourists a nice view of the earth

Last week, SpaceX launched its first space tourists for a three-day journey where they will be in orbit around the earth. In order for the four space tourists included in Inspiration4 to get a slightly better view, SpaceX has installed a view window where the docking port for the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule is usually located.

As it is not intended that Crew Dragon Resilience should dock with any other craft during its journey, the docking gate was not considered necessary. It has therefore been replaced by the dome-shaped view window. In the video above, you can check out what this looks a little closer.

The space tourists who are part of Inspiration4 are expected to land on earth sometime later today.
