Techbiz.id – Released in early March, the Oppo A55 is present as Oppo’s flagship middle-class phone in Indonesia.
The successor to the Oppo A54 is quite interesting, with a price that ranges from 2 million, the Oppo A55 is equipped with superior specifications including the aspect of a camera with a resolution of 50 MP, and a large battery capacity of 5,000 mAh.
Luckily, the Techbiz Editor had the opportunity to take a closer look at the Oppo A55, here are the results of our review:
Oppo A55
Starting with the appearance, the successor to the Oppo A54 as a whole has a design that is almost the same as its predecessor. Rainbow Blue color variant which gives a gradation from blue to silver and refracts the rainbow colors to the back cross section.
Meanwhile, the Starry Black color variant gives an elegant look by combining designs Oppo Reinforced glow makes it scratch-resistant and fingerprint-free.
In addition to having a charming appearance, the Oppo A55 Rainbow Blue variant that we received provides comfort when held, thanks to the 3D design on the slim back, weighing only 193 grams.
The rear body is also decorated with a rectangular camera module that houses a 50 MP (f/.8) main camera, a 2 MP (f/2.4) macro camera, and a 2 MP (f/2.4) bokeh camera.
Turning to the front, the Oppo A55 offers a 6.51-inch LCD screen that supports HD Plus resolution. With this screen, the A55 is able to display pretty good visuals, even though it still runs a 60 Hz refresh rate.
Still about the screen, this middle-class phone has a punch hole that contains a 16 MP (f/2.0) selfie camera. Each side of the bezel looks still slim, so it is able to display content on a full screen.

Oppo has also equipped this phone with a built-in anti-scratch coating. Swipe to the right of the phone, there is a fingerprint scanner sensor that is integrated with the power button.
Meanwhile, the left side of the Oppo A55 carries a number of elements, including the volume control buttons (up and down) and slots for two SIM cards and a microSD card.
Then, at the bottom of the device, there is a series of connectivity such as a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker hole.
Oppo also equips it with various features, such as IPX4 certification that is resistant to splashing water, 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM and the Android 11 operating system with ColorOS 11.1 layer. In Indonesia, the Oppo A55 is sold at a price of Rp. 2.7 million.
