– Before the first round, we in the Confederation were already inundated with questions about the second round. Each time we replied that, first of all, this is not the time, and secondly, that our voters are people looking for a political alternative – said Boset in the Onet Rano program.
– None of us is naive enough that during the night Rafał Trzaskowski or Andrzej Duda underwent some political conversion that they suddenly woke up in the morning and became closer to the Confederation than they were even on Friday. That would be a huge naivety, he said.
Bosak declared that the Confederation “would not support any of these gentlemen.” – We encourage our voters to use their civil rights responsibly and to vote in accordance with their conscience and understanding – he added.
According to PKW data, from 99% the results of the first round are as follows: Andrzej Duda – 43.67 percent votes, Rafał Trzaskowski – 30.34 percent, Szymon Hołownia – 13.85 percent, Krzysztof Bosak – 6.75 percent Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz – 2.37 percent, Robert Biedroń – 2.21 percent
The turnout is record high and amounted to 64.4 percent. The second round of presidential elections will take place on July 12.
