“After a two-year hiatus due to the health crisis, everyone was pleased to meet again,” continues Alex Balzer, who did not try to hide his satisfaction with such a return.
For those in the know, it is obvious that this moment devotes a lot of work while respecting criteria of health, morphology and pace. From the Tibetan mastiff to the Italian greyhound, to hounds and the Boston terrier, no less than 210 breeds won over a curious and sometimes disconcerted public in front of such a spectacle.
Long-haired or wire-haired, tall, short, short-legged, tail in the air or between the legs, there were two thousand one hundred of them presenting their finest finery. Truffle in the air, before shining in the ring in front of the judges with implacable gestures of a refusal or designation to mount the podium. A moment appreciated as much by the owner as by his four-legged companion rewarded with some croquettes and caresses.
