We are entering the last week of the regular season and the nightly calendars are going to be (very) busy. Eleven games on the menu tonight with capital duels for the Playoffs but also … the “possible” return of LeBron James on the floors. Let’s go for the preview!
01h00 : Hornets – Nuggets : After a professional foul at home against the Pelicans’ C team, Charlotte is back with an otherwise fatter piece to digest, the Nikola Jokic gang! When you know the reputation of the Hornets’ racquet, we can only advise you to go to the TTFL to make a small change if you haven’t already. With the Joker, LaMelo Ball but also the respective style of the two teams, we have before us a good big League Pass match.
01h00 : Pistons – Wolves : what happens when neither team wants to win a match? Bah, there is one which is very deg ‘in the early morning. Woe to the winner of this 100% tanking encounter because he will lose ground in his race to Cade Cunningham. We put a big warning for the Wolves because with the record they have at the moment, they risk seeing the pick from the Warriors leave and we will speak Mandarin when we see a new freak next to Steph Curry.
01h30 : Raptors – Clippers : Kawhi Leonard is going to visit his old Raptor buddies but not the Scotiabank Arena. He who was looking for the sun, he will be served near Tampa! The Raptors are officially eliminated from the Playoffs race since tonight and they will try to end the season on a good note, failing the spring games. LA has yet to validate their place on the podium and Denver will play at the same time to try to eject them. A beautiful duel from a distance in perspective.
01h30 : Celtics – Heat : a sleeve everywhere, the ball in the center for the beauty. After an improbable scenario two days ago, Miami and Boston find themselves, still at TD Garden, for a capital match for both. There is a tie-breaker to get and if possible a spot far from the play-in. Jaylen Brown’s absence until the end of the season could weigh heavily in the balance as we tackle the final corner of this race against time.
02h00 : Grizzlies – Mavericks : if Memphis is assured of making the play-in, they will no doubt want to do so as 8th, not 9th in the West. On the one hand, you have two matches to get the postseason and on the other a really single qualifier. (if you beat the tenth first) Dallas is not yet fully protected from the Lakers and Blazers but it’s starting to smell good for a qualifying without a preliminary round. Another victory and a misstep by a rival and Mark Cuban will be able to rejoice with a second qualifier in two years.
02h00 : Pacers – Sixers : same scenario as for Memphis in the case of Indiana. They almost have the play-in in their pocket (it would take a miracle from the Bulls) but they also see that Charlotte is struggling just ahead so why deprive herself? Between injuries, headaches, the end of the Pacers’ season is more solid than one might have thought. They still fell on a hell of a bone last night with Philadelphia, eight wins in a row and firmly attached to its first place in the East. Depending on the scenario ten days from now, we may have one of the first round matches in front of us.
02h00 : Bulls – Nets : we can already see from here those who think that Chicago is in trouble because they meet the Monstars, but that would be to forget that they have already brought down the gang at KD this season with a more than serious victory. The Bulls know it will take a lot of circumstances to see the Playoffs, but as long as there is life, there is hope. Apart from that, we are still not going to complain at the idea of seeing a match with 4 All-Stars in power on the floor if? Brooklyn has yet to secure its second place finish against the Bucks and the return of James Harden (maybe tomorrow) could help tremendously with only four games left on the Men in Black schedule.
03h00 : Bucks – Magic : when you fall off your horse, you have to get back in the saddle quickly and the Bucks would do well to follow that saying. Trampled under the Spurs rodeo, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his gang have a hard time finding themselves with Orlando. In full tanking, the Floridians sell off their end of the season without regret and with a clear goal for the summer: to sunbathe and nab a young talent to shine. One more or less blowout …
04h00 : Warriors – Suns : after hitting the leader of the West tonight, Steph Curry and his family will try to make the double with the reception of the Suns. Phoenix is shining a little less these days and they suffered Anthony – Freaking – Davis’ law in the last game. There is no danger in the remainder since the Top 2 is almost secure but a controlled victory would be good for the confidence of the group. This meeting could look like a good rehearsal against a potential opponent in the first round.
04h00 : Lakers – Knicks : the hottest game of the night and it’s not too hard when it comes to two of the NBA’s most watched franchises. New York has just snatched a magnificent victory on the floor of the Clippers and they will try to complete this stay in LA with a 100%. To prevent them from harming, Anthony Davis and maybe the return of a certain LeBron James, a player who has a bit of the ball. The Woj ‘has announced that the King will be back tonight or tomorrow at the latest and there is a lot of optimism around the angelinos on this scenario. Will the champion finally be able to start up and activate the Playoffs mode?
04h00 : Kings – Thunder : two days later, here we are again with Sacramento and OKC for a duel whose sole purpose is to worsen the record. The Thunder don’t do things by halves and they just got spanked by those same Kings. If you know someone who brags about watching this game rather than the two above, it’s because they’re a real fan or they’ve lost a bet. See you at the Lottery!
That’s it for our preview, but we hope you’ve noted everything down for tonight. We meet around 1am and we will keep you company from start to finish on the blue bird. To your picks, to your League Passes and above all to enjoy!
