Today we are going to talk about Music. My guest is Valérie Chevalier, general manager of the Opéra Orchester national Montpellier-Occitanie. A woman of character with a thousand lives. She took her first steps at the municipal conservatory of Déville-lès-Rouen at the age of 6 and a half, joined the Paris Opera school at 18, became an opera singer, then graduated in management and cultural mediation, set up an artistic agency of singers and classical musicians… and at the end of 2013, became the first woman to be appointed head of a national opera-orchestra, that of Montpellier. A passionate profession that she puts at the service of a program that she wants to make ever more accessible to all audiences by exploring new formats of live performance.
