The festival weekend of this year’s church consecration and homeland festival was very different from the past, but no less attractive and interesting for the guests. As announced, it was a church fair like in the old days. Gemünden celebrated in the old town around the market square, with outdoor catering by the local gastronomy and the organizers of the city marketing association. As the many visitors in the city center showed on Saturday evening, the new, alternative concept that had been thrown out of the ground at short notice was very well received.
