This time, he made people talk because of the article he starred in with Maite Peñoñori in La Nación, where he talked about his state of health. «I say that when you want you can. When they told me, I took it in a different way. With HIV I took refuge in a flower… That’s life, that’s where I connected from another place. A doctor explained to me ‘this is a chronic illness, they have a cocktail, you have to do all the tests and you will have the cocktail for your body.’ So it was. “This was in ’99,” she began by saying.

It was at that moment when Aníbal Pachano decided to tell what he was going through and mentioned the disease that complicates him the most on a daily basis. «Then I found out that he was diabetic, but he came from an absolutely diabetic family. It’s what’s hardest for me to solve. It is a chronic, difficult disease that food, sugar, diet. It is very complex, but well, it also has to do with emotion,” he noted.

«With regard to cancer, I think that whole combination that happened, when they told me what I had, I knew that something was happening, I was crashing into the walls, I was like half lost… I had a feeling that it was going to happen, I pretended. “canchero until one day it happened,” commented the artist.

Bluntly, he decided to go for more. «I had a decompensation, they treated me. I learned that life had to have another meaning. After the puncture, the doctor told me ‘you have something like that’… he made me take it with humor. There were a lot of machines, I had to find a way to be creative. “I was in my head at that time,” he said.

«When they told me about it, a tear fell, I was worried. I said ‘How did my head explode with six tumors?’ There I got busy solving it. I arrived at the operation, they put me to sleep and I woke up talking like a parrot and I didn’t stop. Obviously it was difficult for me to stand up, I had to do a lot of treatment. Six tumors had to be removed and chemo for the lung. Everything started to work and I went home after 15 days. The recovery process began. I started a new life. “I realized that I had been resilient all my life,” he said. Aníbal Pachano.
