A choir from the Philippines wins the first stage of the “European Grand Prix for Choral Singing” competition in Latvia

The 7th International Baltic Sea Choir Competition was held between September 20 and 22 in Jurmala, in the Dzintari Concert Hall, and gathered choir singers from eight countries around the world – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Spain and the Philippines. The performance of the choirs was evaluated by an international professional jury consisting of Māris Sirmais (Latvia), Orla Flanagan (Ireland), Årne Saluveer (Estonia); Christo Burger (Christo Burger, South Africa) and Artūrs Dambrauskas (Arturas Dambrauskas, Lithuania).
