The Chinese language Chang’e-6 probe has efficiently landed on the invisible aspect of the Moon, the so-called darkish aspect. The probe landed within the Moon’s South Pole-Aitken Basin at 1:23 a.m. Finnish time.
In accordance with the Chinese language House Company, the mission of the probe is to gather rock samples from the floor of the Moon and later return to Earth. In accordance with the group, it’s the first time that samples are collected from this not often explored area of the Moon.
The probe collects rock samples for 2 days. It makes use of a drill to assist it gather samples from beneath the floor. As well as, the robotic arm collects samples from the floor. After this, it’s alleged to return again to Earth.
