Yvan Pedneault is on his way to New York, where he is staying for a week for seven performances of Notre-Dame-de-Paris at the Lincoln Center. The singer is honored to extend the international success of the classic work presented for the first time in the metropolis of the United States.
When Luc Plamondon and Richard Cocciante’s musical first premiered in 1997, Yvan Pedneault performed in his first shows with the Masque d’Or troupe from Sept-Îles. The immediate success of Notre-Dame-de-Paris in France and Quebec inspired the young singer from Sept-Îles and contributed to his career choice.
After New York, the finalist of La Voix 2016, a native of Sept-Îles, will carry out the Quebec tour, but will give up his place during performances in the Maritimes for his engagements on the North Shore, in Baie-Comeau and an evening “Tribute to Queen at the Festi-Grill in Sept-Îles on August 12.
