A girl is in serious condition after being hit by a car in Sofia. The 10-year-old child was taken to “Pirogov” in a coma and with polytrauma.
It intersected at “Konstantin Velichkov” Blvd. and “Vazkresenie” Blvd. According to the relatives, the child was not on a crosswalk.
The ambulance was called at 18:27 and arrived at the scene within 6 minutes. A second ambulance was also called for the driver. At the scene of the accident, the driver did not speak to our team.
The Ministry of the Interior told bTV that the driver’s alcohol test was negative. The circumstances surrounding the crash are being clarified.
Relatives of the injured child had gathered in “Pirogov” this evening.
“She was close to me. I was also a little carried away, I even fell”, said the brother of the girl who was hit, Boris Dimitrov.
