MerahPutih.com – A 10-year-old boy found dinosaur footprints while playing on the beach. Dinosaur footprints are estimated to be 200 million years old.
The child, named Tegan, saw a series of large footprint-shaped holes on the rocky beach while on school holidays.
Later, he thought it might come from prehistoric times. Then, the mother called the experts immediately.
They believe the five paintings near Penarth, South Wales, are of a 15ft dinosaur called Camelotia.

Tegan said: “It was really good and exciting. We were just out looking for what we could find, we didn’t think we would find anything.”
“We found it was a big hole that looked like a dinosaur footprint, so mum took pictures, we emailed it to the museum and it was from a long-necked dinosaur,” he said as quoted by The SunTuesday (20/8).
Then, this beach has now become a favorite place for fossil hunters. A four-year-old child, Lily Wilder, discovered another dinosaur footprint in 2021.
Paleontologist from the National Museum of Wales, Cindy Howells, examined the marks left on the stone. Then, he revealed, it was “a real dinosaur print. “

Cindy told him BBC The Dinohunters: “We have five footprints and we are talking about a distance between each footprint of about half to three quarters of a meter.”
“These footprints are very large, they must be a type of dinosaur called Sauropodomorpha. “If it was a random hole, we would be careful, but because we had a left foot, a right foot, then a left foot, and another right foot… there was a constant gap between them,” he explained.
“This is a very important find – the excitement you get when someone contacts us with a confirmed dinosaur find, it’s just amazing.” (soft)
