A check already compromised for the Blood and Gold

the RC Lens hopes to receive a percentage on the future transfer of Monir Chouiar in Levante. But the transaction has become more complicated in recent days.

RC Lens Mercato: A percentage on resale for Mounir Chouiar

Officially player of Dijon FCO since summer 2019, Monir Chouiar brought back a nice sum of money to his training club, RC Lens. The Dijon club, relegated to Ligue 2, paid a transfer fee of 3.5 million euros to Racing Club de Lens to complete the arrival of the left winger. And the 22-year-old could once again bring in a few million euros for his former club.

Indeed, RC Lens had taken care to include a percentage for resale, or more exactly a percentage of the capital gain that Dijon FCO will make when it sells the young attacking midfielder. And according to information from the Spanish press, Monir Chouiar is expected to join Levante UD this summer. In search of offensive reinforcement, the Spanish club would have even completed the transfer of the young striker from DFCO in the final hours of the summer transfer window. Both parties would have fallen and all that would remain is the formalization of his transfer.

But three days after the summer transfer window closed, the transfer of Monir Chouiar has still not been formalized. Concern and pessimism now reign over the outcome of this deal.

The transfer from Mounir Chouiar to Levante close to collapsing

RMC Sport also reports that the transfer of Monir Chouiar in Levante could fail due to a late return of certain documents to the Spanish League. Thus, if the operation were to fail, it would be a shame for RC Lens who hoped to receive part of the amount of their transfer. Sports radio also explains that the left wingman of the DFCO is now turning to other solutions.
