There was a ball in Fehérvárcsurgó during the Easter weekend. The proceeds of the event, as was stated on the poster of the sprinkler ball, are intended to be used for a day full of screening tests.
– The ball went very well, there was a great atmosphere and it was really full house, since about 110 people participated, and the distribution of age groups was also very diverse. There were young people, but the 30s, 40s, and 50s were also represented. A DJ played the music and the atmosphere lasted from nine in the evening until four in the morning, said Anita Zámbó, secretary of the local Red Cross foundation.
As we found out, they managed to collect quite a lot of raffle gifts, many local entrepreneurs also supported them. There were those who could not go to the event, but they also contributed to the success of the evening by purchasing a supporter’s ticket.
When asked when and what kind of screening tests will take place, the secretary said:
“Now we’re going to put our heads together as to what and when we’ll have the opportunity to organize anything.” According to our plans, there will definitely be a dermatological screening, because it has been done before and it was always a great success. Of course, it’s also important who has acquaintances in which direction, maybe there can be a lecture in the program, and then we’ll see what’s in demand, said the secretary.
The foundation organization in Fehérvárcsurgó has 44 members, and such a health day has been organized before, and there were even cases where it turned into a multi-day event.
