More than 6,000 fans of the King of Pop music Michael Jackson attended a ceremony in his memory in the city of Gary, Indiana, near which Jackson was born and spent his childhood. The father of the legendary singer and musician Joe Jackson and other relatives, as well as the famous fighter for the rights of black Americans Jesse Jackson, participated in the mourning ceremony at the local baseball stadium. According to the mayor of the city, the ceremony pays tribute to the contribution of the Jackson family to the music culture. Therefore, the main part of it consisted of prayers and performances of music groups and dance groups to the accompaniment of Michael Jackson songs.
It remains unknown what exactly the 50-year-old King of Pop died of, or where he will be buried.
