A centenarian had to be evacuated from her home last night, shortly after 9 p.m. in Valencia. A fire started in his kitchen, on the 5th floor of a building located on avenue Victor Hugo.
She was transported to Valencia hospital in relative emergency, where she is currently under observation.
No less than 19 firefighters fought the flames.
The fire, particularly smoke, did not allow the evacuation of the inhabitants of the two upper floors. The smoke on the stairs was so thick that they had to stay indoors and prevent the smoke from entering through any gaps.
No other victims are to be deplored.
