Al-Marsad Fact: Statistical reports revealed an unprecedented increase in divorce rates in the Kingdom during the current year 2022.
Reports indicated that the divorce rate exceeds one case every 10 minutes.
Those reports stated that divorce cases in the Kingdom have reached 168 cases per day, with 7 divorce cases per hour and at a rate that exceeds one case every 10 minutes, according to the newspaper “Al-Youm”.
For its part, data from the Saudi General Authority for Statistics said that 57,595 divorce documents were issued in the last months of 2020, an increase of 12.7% compared to 2019.
