The patient from Deux-Sèvres had gone to Mulhouse and also passed through the Oise. After her return, after a few days, she developed a cough and fever. She then called 15 to report herself. These analyzes proved to be positive and the patient was referred to the Poitiers University Hospital, a first-line hospital establishment for the treatment of coronavirus in the region.
Niort ARS indicates that a health investigation is underway to identify contact cases. The Public Health France investigation unit will try to contact all the people with whom the patient has been in contact since her return from Alsace.
The Regional Health Agency indicates that it will hold a press conference, tomorrow Friday at 4 p.m.
Two new cases in Lot-et-Garonne, also returning from Mulhouse
In the New Aquitaine region, two other new cases were also confirmed this Thursday in the Lot-et-Garonne department. they are also a couple returning from the religious gathering that took place in Mulhouse.
