There is a danger to the victim’s life

A car hit a pedestrian in Sofia. The incident happened on Todor Aleksandrov Blvd. and Dimitar Petkov St.

The victim is a 38-year-old man. He has 11 broken ribs, 2 vertebrae and a pneumothorax of the lung. He was taken for examination to the District Hospital, where he was placed in intensive care. The pedestrian’s life is in danger, the hospital “St. Anna” for NOVA.

The driver of the car tested positive for cannabis. He was taken for a blood sample at the Medical Center. According to NOVA, the driver who caused the accident is named Adrian H. and is the head of “Levski” – Zapad. He admitted to our team that he had used cannabis two days ago. He also said that this was not the first time he had used marijuana, but he did not know that two years later he would test positive.

According to him, he does not feel guilty for the accident because the pedestrian crossed a red light.

According to inspector Radoslav Krastev, the driver did not refuse a test.
