“Night at the Museum” actor Dick Van Dyke was involved in a bad car accident in Malibu, California last week, The Sun reports.
The 97-year-old actor drove the car until he lost control and crashed into the gate.
Emergency medical assistance was called to the scene.
According to eyewitnesses, the actor was not seriously injured, but blood was flowing from his nose. The actor was treated at the scene, but refused hospitalization.
He admitted to the police that due to the wet road, the Lexus he was driving skidded, as a result of which he lost control of the car and crashed into the gate.
According to the law enforcement officers, then they will require the actor to take a driving test again to make sure that he can still drive a car at his respectable age.
