Yessenov University President Berik Akhmetov presented the Yessenov Technopark construction project. He noted the creation of conditions for the growth and improvement of future engineers, technologists, IT specialists, who will gain knowledge in various areas of scientific and technical activity, developing their technical thinking.

The laboratories of the technopark will be open and available not only to students, but also to residents of the city. The two-storey complex will be equipped and equipped with more than 80 types of modern technology, various equipment, computers with the latest programs.

At the site where the construction of the technopark building is planned, a memorial stone was erected and a “Time Capsule” was laid.

A capsule with a message to artificial intelligence, students, faculty is planned to be opened in 2076 in honor of the 100th anniversary of Yessenov University. The capsule was laid by regional akim Nurlan Nogayev, minister Sayasat Nurbek and university president Berik Akhmetov.

The guests were presented with a greenhouse, a desalination plant at the Green Technology Center, the construction of a three-story building of the Maritime Academy, the Center for Academic Excellence and a new stadium project.

The guests also planted the first trees on the territory of the future youth park.
This was followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at a new 500-bed dormitory built on campus.

An introductory campus tour was organized for the guests in the main building of the university.

In the afternoon, the Minister of Science and Higher Education met with students of Yessenov University, gave a lecture and answered questions of interest.
