In March, Ulman Park II celebrated the Dragonfly Festival, the value of which reaches 21 million euros. This is the fourth business park developed by the company “PICHE”, which is located near the airport “Riga” and offers to rent large warehouse and office space.
Currently 70% of the total available area is reserved.
Ulmaņa Parks II is located next to the Airport Park, which started operating in 2018, the Green Park, which was offered to tenants two years later, and Ulmaņa Park I, which started operating in 2017.
“We are pleased that the seemingly difficult situation in the world is not preventing companies from growing. They are looking for opportunities to expand both their office and warehouse space, as evidenced by the fact that 70% of the Ulmanis Park II area is already leased under construction. We plan to put the first stage into operation in the middle of July. This object will continue to strengthen Mārupe as one of the most important business districts in Latvia. The company plans to develop at least another 100,000 m² of industrial space here, ”says Pēteris Senkāns, the head of the company” PICHE “, the builder and developer of Ulmanis Park II.
Ulmanis Park II has a total area of 21,000 square meters. 19,000 square meters are warehouse space, while 2,000 square meters are reserved for offices. The latest technologies have been used in the construction process, especially for the convenience of employees. Lighting is provided by smart LED lamps. The temperature can be adjusted individually for each room. The heating and cooling system is located on the floors. Air quality is ensured by the recuperation system. There will be several rooftop terraces for staff convenience. Warehouses are built as energy-efficiently as possible, paying special attention to the load-bearing capacity of the floor. It is also thought to be easy to adjust and replan if necessary.
It is already known that the lessee of Ulmaņa Parks II will be one of the most promising Latvian technology companies Lightspace Technologies.
The company has developed augmented reality glasses that are able to display the image in true 3D coordinates, ensuring its depth. So these are the first augmented reality glasses in the world that do not cause eye strain. In the Ulman Park II area, Lightspace Technologies will deploy all the processes that ensure the product development cycle.
Another tenant who has chosen the premises of Ulmanis Park II is the leading construction equipment rental company Ramirent.
We want to expand our network of rental points, so we chose to open a new rental point near Riga Airport. Another reason for choosing the location – significant construction projects will be or are being implemented in the area. There will be a Ramirent rental point, as well as customer service premises and a warehouse for the placement and maintenance of construction equipment, ”comments Raimonds Henks, Leasing Director.
