A severe accident in neighboring Turkey has claimed lives. One person was killed and 27 were injured in a severe bus crash in Agra County, eastern Turkey, Turkish television CNN Turk reported.
The serious accident happened on the road in the area of the town of Eleshkirt.
The most likely cause of the accident was the slippery road, as it was raining heavily in the area. The driver of the vehicle lost control and the bus went off the road and overturned. Many ambulances, medical helicopters and fire engines arrived at the scene.
The victims were transported to hospitals in Agra and Erzurum. A total of 25 people were injured in the incident. One of the victims died at a hospital in the town of Erzurum. There are many teachers among the wounded.
