A vehicle caught fire early this morning on Alameda Juan Pablo II and 17th Avenue North, near the Central Reserve Bank, San Salvador, only material damages have been reported.
“We immediately went to the scene to provide pre-hospital care to any of those affected. At the moment, the Fire Department teams have already controlled the situation and fortunately only material damage has been reported,” the Medical Emergency System (SEM) posted on social media.
Due to the vehicle fire, the area remained blocked for a while, however, with the support of a garbage truck, the street was cleared.
This fire is in addition to the two reported last Thursday, one of them at the Los Próceres Boulevard overpass and the Árbol de la Paz roundabout, heading from Monseñor Romero Boulevard towards San Salvador.
The other accident occurred on the Masferrer Norte extension and the end of Alameda Juan Pablo II, where only material damage was reported.
