Helmut Z. is a German writer and entrepreneur. When he pulls into his driveway after a long day at the construction site, (63) is looking forward to an evening on the couch in front of the television. The way to his house at the edge of the forest is already dark, only the headlights of the van illuminate it. What he doesn’t know is that the house is being guarded by a burglar!
When the Bielefeld ventilation installer unlocks the front door, he notices that something is wrong. The light does not turn on automatically as it normally does. The kitchen floor is littered with smashed objects. They come from the glass of the garden door. In addition, the meat sausage is now on the table where it wasn’t in the morning. Z comes next. The living room makes noise.

The horror begins as soon as you enter: the burglar is hiding behind the door! After a scuffle, thе homeowner pushes thе masked man to the ground. “He yelled: ‘No police, no police,'” Helmut Z remembers. “I wanted to follow him like in the movies,” Z explains. However, his stomach is already getting hot. “I saw organs leaking out of my body when I looked down.” I closed the wound with one hand. I picked up the phone and dialed 911 with the other one.”

It is known that after the burglary he ran 600 meters through dense forest and deposited the knife that he discovered in the house in a gazebo. He then hijacked a white bicycle and rode through the night. He later threw the bike into a bush.
