Destiny Parker, born in Sofia, enters the new season of the American music format The Voice. After the show’s initial phone call, our girlfriend has had many internal auditions and interviews with the team, and in a few days she will face coaches Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, John Legend and Camila Cabello.
Destini is also the first Bulgarian woman accepted with a full scholarship to Berklee, the best music school in the world, and is currently studying there. This season is very special because there is only one show for the whole year, not two like every other year since 2011. The casting was beyond draconian, but Destiny is part of the September 19 show on NBC. Everything about the participants is classified and so far there is no information as to whether Destiny will join one of the four groups!
Destini is the fruit of the love of Miryana di Sofia and an American soldier. At that time, the spark between them ignited on the Internet, and a year later they got married. Shortly after Destiny was born, they moved to live in the United States. Destiny herself has been very musical since she was young, but she didn’t take music seriously. Her mother says she was shocked to learn that her daughter was accepted into the most prestigious college of music – Berklee. The girl is very fond of Bulgaria and often comes home for the holidays and, together with her old friends, she goes hiking in the mountains around Vitosha. She prefers Bulgarian cuisine, she knows how to make a cake and a tarator, and when she gets angry she says: “Well, good job!”
