A Bulgarian professor donated BGN 100,000 to a center for children with autism in Pleven

Economics professor Yoto Yotov, who has been living with his family abroad for years, donated BGN 100,000 to a center for children with autism in Pleven.

The funds will be used to support the annual therapies of six children, as well as to build a school.

The Autism Today Association expresses its deep gratitude to the Anelia and Ioto Yotovi family, who have lived abroad for years, but their roots and big hearts make them committed to supporting a dignified life and future for children with disabilities. The real investment in the future is in education, school and child development, and we raise our children as they watch our actions. The children of the family not only observe, but are actively involved in their noble activity! A deep bow and respect!“, wrote the association on their official page on social networks.

Prof. Yotov, a graduate of the Mathematical High School in Pleven, decided two years ago to help children with autism.

My best friend has a child with autism, whom I have been helping for years, but we see the difficulties the family is going through and I decided two years ago to do something to the kids in my hometown. I travel the world and teach “International Trade”, I am an economist by profession and all the money I earn, I donate them to children with autism in Pleven, I love my city, I hope this money will help children. I hope to set an example for my own sons and I want to thank my wife for the support she has given me over the years and who looked after the two boys as I traveled to make that money.“, Ioto Yotov told BNR.
