“A Bulgarian who has a personal meeting with Elon Musk will bring him an official invitation from the ministry and a silver pace.” This is what Tourism Minister Ilin Dimitrov told bTV after Musk’s tweet with a photo of the Belogradchik rocks caused a stir.
He did not reveal who our man is, who will speak to the billionaire personally, but added that there is also an invitation for the game’s creators, to whom Musk has likened the rocks.
Dimitrov explained that he wants to organize a cosplay festival on this occasion. “It will be for video game fans and they can dress up as characters from the game,” he said.
The Minister of Tourism explained that Musk is not the first to notice the unique beauty of our country.
He admitted that we too have problems. “Yes, we have beautiful places, but the roads are bad, the infrastructure is bad. Most of the beautiful places are cut off. It is not the task of the Ministry of Tourism to pave the roads,” commented Minister Dimitrov and added that the Bulgaria is recovering well against the backdrop of other countries.
“We are expecting a good winter tourist season. Bulgaria is becoming more and more popular. And while foreign resorts are drastically increasing their prices, we have managed to maintain an excellent price-quality ratio of our services. Our winter resorts are they are developing very well and I’m happy,” explained the minister.
