The special version of the Actros 4163 SLT is now with its new owner. Daimler Truck AG’s general distributor for Bulgaria – Silver Star, delivered the 180-ton tractor, which was completely transformed to work with a total composition load of up to 180 tons.
The transformation of the exclusive vehicle, completely tailored to the specific task of the customer, includes the strengthening of the chassis, the installation of a 900-litre tank behind the cab, the delivery and installation of a special 36-tonne undercarriage. Also behind the cabin, by order of the owner, metal cabinets were made and installed.
The power line of the “heavyweight” is represented by the most powerful engine in the manufacturer’s lineup with a displacement of 15.6 liters, a maximum power of 625 hp. and a maximum torque of 3,000 Nm. Drive to the rear four-wheel drive is via a 16-speed gearbox and a wear-resistant turbo retarder clutch, ensuring precise operation under extreme loads.
The special version of the tractor also includes a Big Space cab in the SoloStar Concept version, an interactive multimedia cockpit, as well as numerous assistance systems: active lane keeping assistant, traffic sign assistant and active braking assistant.
