A British child suffers from a rare disease and loss of memory after recovering from the Corona virus

A 7-year-old British child suffered amnesia after his battle with the Corona virus led to a rare disease, as doctors diagnosed the child, “Logan Walsh,” with polysystem inflammatory syndrome in children (PIMS-TSAfter six weeks of recovering from Corona, according to the British newspaper, “Metro”.

The child “Logan Walsh” felt various symptoms, which began with swelling of his hands and feet along with the rash, and immediately the mother of the injured child called an ambulance to take him to the hospital for treatment.

Doctors at the hospital examined the condition of the infected child, and he was diagnosed with the multiple inflammatory syndrome of Corona, after the initial reports confirmed that children had this syndrome during their illness with the coronavirus.

Doctors emphasized that the multi-system inflammatory syndrome leads to organ failure, insufficient blood flow, in addition to other severe medical emergencies, which means that children must be admitted to the intensive care unit.

The doctors’ staff inside the hospital revealed that the children infected with the Coronavirus suffer from inflammatory syndrome, despite the absence of any symptoms that would reveal their infection with the virus.

Logan was forced to undergo steroid treatment and later suffered a heart murmur that led to his transfer to the intensive care unit, after his body began to swell when he tried to recover and he had worsening blood flow.

Despite the improvement in his health, he suffered from memory loss, and I began a state of forgetfulness for a number of simple situations after unsuccessful attempts by his mother to remind him of it, which affected the anxiety of the navel, especially as he approached his return to school and the effect of this on his educational and intellectual skills.

The child’s mother, “Jessica,” said: “Now that he has lost his memory, he forgets some things that may be frustrating for him and does not remember what happened to him in the hospital.”
