A fourteen-year-old boy died in Oss after a serious road accident. The teenager was seriously injured along with two other children. Two eighteen year olds from the other car were arrested on suspicion of having caused the fatal accident in the night between Sunday and Monday.
The boy was sitting in the back seat of the car. He took the heaviest blows.
The other children who were also behind are eight and twelve years old. They are seriously injured in the hospital. Police have not yet commented on their conditions.
A total of six people were injured. One of the children’s parents was also slightly injured.
The men from the nearby towns of Megen and Berghem were arrested and treated in hospital. A breath test shows they may have drunk too much alcohol. Further research needs to show if this is indeed the case.
Police are also investigating who was behind the wheel. The men were arrested on suspicion of causing the crash.
The accident occurred in the night between Sunday and Monday around 2 am at an intersection in the city of Brabant. The two cars collided there.
