A bowl of warm writing

Recently, while choosing a restaurant with my husband, we promised to go to the restaurant of the ‘Black and White Chef‘ contestant. Even after that, my acquaintances convinced me to visit this place.

A program that was talked about by everyone we met. Netflix‘s ‘Black and White Chef’ is not just a cooking competition. This is a story of life, and furthermore, a story containing each person’s recipe. What was impressive was that the performer had no teacher, so he learned cooking from comic books or taught himself how to cook while delivering to a Chinese restaurant. Also, I am an elementary school lunch cook.

They have no experience working at a famous Italian restaurant and no mentors. It was far from a flashy career. Among them, the performer who moved my heart the most was a middle-aged elementary school lunch cook. It’s all about warm rice, beef jerky, bossam wrapped in lettuce, plum sauce and kimchi for dipping. They provided children’s meals that were nothing special. The judge said that after eating the food, memories of the last elementary school meal before immigrating came to mind. The feel of the iron plate rubbing against the spoon, I ate food that brought back memories, and savored it for a long time.

As I watched that scene, I suddenly thought that writing and this situation were very similar. I was curious about whether what I write evokes memories and inspiration in people. Just like the food prepared by the catering chef was like that. Writing does not highlight flashy techniques, but has the power to move people’s hearts. The same goes for cooking and writing. What is important is the sincerity and sincerity contained within it.

The reason people don’t just focus on winning or losing while watching cooking competition programs is because we discover our own lives in them. The reason why chefs from black spoons are so powerful is that they compete fiercely in their own way. The food they serve is not simply filled with technology or splendor, but also contains the agony and hope of life, as well as their own stories. The same goes for our lives. Everyone lives in their own way, with their own recipe, and within it is their own unique story, effort, and hope.

Can the things I write leave a small trace in someone’s heart? Choosing one word or one sentence, I write it down like a chef preparing ingredients. There is no smooth diction or grandiose expressions. I want to write simple but resonant writing that whets people’s appetite with familiar ingredients. warmly.

Post Recipe

First, put in a handful of dirt-smelling stains.
The wounds from the blades of grass from the road,
Add water droplets to the leaf veins
A gust of wind passed by, patting my shoulder,

Don’t miss the sight of grandma’s back.

When writing, should I write roughly?
Life should be contained, and inhalation and exhalation should be mixed.
Like twisted tree roots,
Life has to be twisted to taste better
Even the laughter you encounter on an unfamiliar street must be hidden.

A ginger tree leaf that fell on the ground,
A handful of children’s laughter heard from somewhere,
What you need is

I have to mix in the story of someone’s sweat.

Finally, like a lightly swaying tree branch
Be careful when submitting your writing

With rough but warm hands,
Wherever this article reaches
I hope someone’s heart vibrates gently
