a boost of solidarity to feed the animals of the Muller circus

For some animals the situation begins to be worrying”, Worries Gloria Feron, founding president of the Nîmes association toutous et minous. Since the installation of the circus – on December 6 – this animal lover has been worried about the state of malnutrition of certain circus animals. “For two months I have been coming up to four times a week to bring carrots, bread, grains and meat for the animals, explains Gloria Feron before adding, it’s a lot of work so to relieve myself I made a facebook post”.

A message shared more than 570 times on the social network. Tracy, alerted by the publication of Gloria Feron, then created a group of “support for the circus of Nîmes”. “We are more than 70 members today and we try to carry out solidarity actions”, She exposes. The volunteers thus succeeded in having two bins of carrots and hard bread delivered by a convenience store in the region.

“We can hold out for a few more months”

If the circus artists say they are grateful for this outpouring of solidarity, the director of the Muller circus ensures that all the animals are in good health. “When you own animals you make sure you can take care of them, just like children”, points out with irony Mr Muller. He adds that he can properly feed his animals as long as the health situation prevents them from resuming performances. “Between our reserves, state aid and support from individuals we can hold out for a few more months ”, he concludes.
