I received a CG offering the Ferrari “288GTO”, a supercar in a modern version, as a tribute.
The 288GTO was designed by Pininfarina in Italy and sold by Ferrari from 1984 to 1987.
The powertrain is a famous car from the same brand equipped with a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and boasting a maximum power of 400 HP.
Speaking of supercar homage models, as recently as September 2022, Koenigsegg celebrated the 20th anniversary of the debut of the brand’s first mass-produced car, the “CC8S”, and announced the “CC850”, and in August 2021 the Lamborghini “Countach”. anniversary, “LPI 800-4” was released, and this proposal seems to have been inspired by them.
The center of gravity provided by designer Zhiheng Guo adopts the wedge shape of the 288GTO, and the flowing lines from the front to the sides and back are impressive.
In particular, the side view is excellent, replacing the original simple NACA duct with an air intake that flows seamlessly from the door.
Up front, slim LED headlights sit just above the darkened front grille. This is unrealistic, but the impact is strong.
Other highlights are the angular rear wheel arches and the sexy five-spoke wheels.
