A BOLA – World Champion is a reinforcement of FC Porto (Handball)

FC Porto announced this Friday the signing of Nikolaj Laeso, left-back and international for Denmark. The player signed a three-year contract, joining the Blues and Whites squad starting next season.

Laeso, 25 years old, promises to be a luxury reinforcement for the dragons, as he has the title of world champion for Denmark, in addition to the national title in that country with Aalborg, as well as a presence in the final of the European Champions League.

«I am very happy to join FC Porto and looking forward to being part of the team. When my manager told me that he had been contacted by FC Porto, I was very excited. I’ve spoken with Magnus Andersson several times, I like the way he coaches the team and I want to be part of it”, said Nikolaj Laeso, quoted by the blue and white club’s website.

«How do I define myself as an athlete? «I am a good player on both sides of the field, capable of playing in all positions in the defense, strong on the counterattack and with a goal scoring vein: I like to score goals, like all players, and I hope to be able to bring all that to FC Porto, helping the team to grow and be even better.”
