Sérgio Conceição has fond memories of the last clashes with Italian teams in European competition, in matches played at Estádio do Dragão. The two times that this happened, the FC Porto coach overcame his opponents, with the mighty Juventus being the last to suffer the power of the team from the city Invicta.
That happened last season, in a match in which Taremi surprised the defense of the vecchia signora by exerting high pressure and managing to score a first goal in the first leg of the round of 16, which paved the way for qualification for the next stage.
Marega extended the count at the start of the second half, but the Turin team, where Cristiano Ronaldo was pontificating at the time, minimized damage and scored a goal through Chiesa. In the 2nd leg, the dragons lost by 2-3, but it was worth the fact that FC Porto scored more away goals.
