The final minutes of Arouca-Vizela, which ended with the victory of the visiting team by 4-1, had a situation, to say the least, curious. With the victory already assured, Samu Silva, Vizela midfielder, did everything to get Tiago Martins to show him the yellow card and, thus, reach a series of five cards in the League and fulfill a suspension game in the next round, when Vizela receive FC Porto.
Realizing that Samu was forcing the card, the referee of the match even laughed at the situation and ended up not ‘going with the song’ of the Vizela player, who ended the game without seeing the yellow card that would leave him out of Álvaro Pacheco’s options for the game with dragons.
On flash interview after the game, Álvaro Pacheco justified the player’s attitude with “time management”.
