Andrey Santos, an 18-year-old midfielder signed by Chelsea from Vasco da Gama in January, has not received the necessary work permit to play in England.
The player, who cost 20 million euros, failed to obtain a work permit on just one point: due to the high number of players signed by the blues for the midfield, including the Argentine Enzo Fernández (ex-Benfica).
Andrey Santos, remember, was one of eight Chelsea signings in the winter market.
Coach Graham Potter addressed the situation: “Santos are in the same place. We are looking at the options we have for him.”
