Pedro Porro is tied to Sporting until June 2025. Porro, remember, arrived at Sporting at the beginning of last season, on loan from Manchester City. At the time, the agreement between the English and the Lions involved a loan valid for two seasons, with a purchase option of 8.5 million euros at the end of the loan period. After 37 games, four goals and four assists in his debut season, the Spanish full-back has already had 18 games, three goals and a pass to goal this season. More than convincing the administration of SAD to move towards the definitive purchase of his pass, because that decision was already taken for a long time, the exhibitions, the commitment and the connection created with the club and supporters lead Pedro Porro to be, since now, awarded for the green and white.
In the image of players like Pedro Gonçalves and João Palhinha, who have renewed long-term contracts to improve their salary conditions in Alvalade, Pedro Porro has also signed a new contract, going from a salary of half a million euros to 800 thousand euros.
That will be, therefore, Porro’s salary as of June 2022, when Sporting will then pay the 8.5 million euros to Manchester City and will definitively sign a bond with the Spanish full-back until 2025.
