Benfica announced another case of Covid-19 in the squad. João Mário tested positive for the new coronavirus and should miss the match with Tondela, scheduled for next Monday.
The 29-year-old midfielder, remember, was a substitute in the game against Gil Vicente (1-2), this Wednesday, having been released in the second half by Nélson Veríssimo.
Trained at Sporting, João Mário is completing his first season at Benfica. In total, he has 34 games, three goals and five assists for the eagles.
