A BOLA – Members must pay dues until the 8th to vote (Benfica)

The chairman of the Benfica General Assembly Bureau issued a statement this Wednesday, reporting on the elections that will take place next Saturday.

It is explained that members with active electoral capacity, with more than one year of effective membership, will have to have their dues in days, considering payments made up to 6 pm on the day prior to the holding of the elections.

Voting, it is further clarified, can be carried out with the presentation of the membership card – with identity validated by the citizen’s card, passport or driving license – or by presenting the virtual membership card through the Benfica Official App.

«1 – Under the terms of paragraphs 1 and 2, of article 4, of the Electoral Regulation of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, members with active electoral capacity, with more than one year of effective association membership, who are in full enjoyment of their rights, with their dues up to date and the Casas do Benfica, Delegations and Branches, under the terms of the Statutes. The member who has paid the dues up to 6 pm on the day before the elections are considered to have up to date.

2- This regulatory norm implies that the Electoral Registers will be closed from 6 pm on October 8th, and from that moment onwards, no changes can be made to them, either by payment of fees or to obtain any card of member due to loss or loss of use, or any other situation, which in previous elections could be resolved on the day of the election, and which now, due to the closing of the electoral roll at 6 pm on the previous day, will make situations more complicated of resolution.

3- Voting can be carried out with the presentation of the membership card – with identity validated by the citizen card, passport or driving license – or by presenting the virtual membership card through the Benfica Official App.

4 – The Board of the General Meeting will always be available throughout the 9th of October, in person at the Lisbon Board, or in any other of the 24 voting places spread across Mainland Portugal through its representatives, to resolve any situations that may arise. by any partner.

5- Likewise, for members who can vote through the internet, the number of people assigned to the call center was reinforced, in order to make communication easier for the purposes of resolving situations that arise.

The AG Board calls on all members to exercise their right to vote in a peaceful manner, and that, with this act, they enhance the history of our club once again.
