Sporting announced, this Thursday, the launch of a new rugby polo collection, which aims to honor the sport that made the green and white striped jersey a symbol of the leonine club.
Salazar Carreira, in 1926, was inspired by the jersey of Racing de Paris to design the official equipment of the Alvalade club, the green and white stripes.
This new collection, Rugby Collection, aims to pay homage to the club’s history, with «a touch of modernity and innovation», as indicated by Sporting on its official website.
