Jovane Cabral, a Sporting player, was honored this Thursday in Cape Verde by the Municipality of Santa Catarina, on the island of Santiago.
«Thank you for this tribute. I am very happy and I will fight, more and more, not only for myself, but also to raise the name of Santa Catarina», said the 22-year-old player.
Jovane did not stop talking about the title of national champion conquered by Sporting, defining the key moment: «For me, it was the game against SC Braga. After the game I felt we could be champions. We were all confident.”
About his situation at the club, the winger said: “I have a contract with Sporting, I’m going back to the pre-season, but who takes care of my future is my manager.”
