A BOLA – João Sousa says goodbye to the first of the Newport turf (Tennis)

João Sousa (133rd in the world) was, this Tuesday, eliminated in the first round of the ATP 250 in Newport, played on grass, in the United States.

The Portuguese tennis player lost to North American Tennys Sandgren (78th in the hierarchy), by 4-6 and 6-7 (3) after 1h31 of game.

João Sousa will now travel to Tokyo, Japan, in order to prepare for participation in the Olympic Games.
